Having grown up on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, the coastal environment and its protection has always been near and dear to Carla. A passion for ecosystem conservation led her to post-secondary studies in ecology and oceanography. Though Carla’s working life took a turn decades ago – to roles with both the provincial and federal governments, and now the video game industry – her leisure time is spent by the shore, enjoying the coves and Islands of Mahone Bay.
A professional life in operations management, Carla is experienced in the investigation and fulfilment of organizational needs, adept at learning new skills in the application of various technologies. When she’s not working, you’ll find Carla in the company of her family and beloved dogs, enjoying fresh air and lots of good books.
