Musique Royale

On September 5th, Barbara Butler with Musique Royale held a unique outdoor musical event,
Across the Waters, at Cecilia’s Retreat in Oakland at dusk. Cellist, India Gailey playing at
Cecilia’s Retreat improvised with saxophone player, Andrew MacKelvie playing from a sailboat
on the water below. They were joined by the night sounds of geese, ducks and crickets with a
warm wind blowing away mosquitoes. There was no admission fee but all donations received
were for the support of MICA. Thank you Barbara and Musique Royale for a lovely evening and
your support of MICA over the years!
