Stuck for ideas for that gift for the 'hard-to-buy-for' person on your list?
Looking for a gift with lasting significance?
Have you considered making a donation to MICA in their honour?
To date, Andrews, Backmans, and Covey Islands, the northern end of Masons Island, and Long, Centre, Dry and Snipe Islands, Sacrifice, Indian (Shag), and Bella Islands are in public ownership. Donations from members and friends of MICA, along with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, and the Long Island Preservation Society has allowed us to achieve these accomplishments. These islands are now available for public use in perpetuity.
Looking ahead, we plan to continue fundraising to bring additional Mahone Bay islands into public ownership. Donations made to MICA will be used towards this end.
If you wish to make such a gift, simply print and fill out this request form (PDF format for easy printing) and mail it with your cheque to the address at the bottom.
